Airbus reveals unidentified order for 15 A350s

Widebody agreement features in April backlog figures.
Airbus has disclosed an order for 15 A350-900s from an unidentified customer in its latest backlog figures.

The agreement is the only widebody activity listed by the airframer for April.

Asian budget carrier Scoot ordered four A320neos and an A321neo during the month — the airline has newly revealed that it is taking 11 A320neo-family aircraft for expansion.

Unidentified customers have also signed separately for six A321neos and two A220-300s.

They bring overall net orders for the first four months of 2026 to 405 aircraft, after cancellation of 20 A321neos in April.

Airbus delivered 181 aircraft over the four-month period. These included 15 A350s and six A330s, as well as 136 A320neo-family jets and 24 A220s.
