SIA took delivery of the five 777Fs between 2022 and 2023.
Singapore Airlines and logistics giant DHL Express have renewed an operating contract for five Boeing 777 freighters.
The agreement will see SIA continue to provide crew and maintenance support, with its pilots operating the five 777Fs, and engineers overseeing MRO services.
SIA took delivery of the dual-liveried 777Fs – powered by a pair of GE Aerospace GE90 engines – between 2022 and 2023. Based in Singapore, the freighters operates flights to the USA via Asia.
The two companies add: “With Singapore as the home base for the dual-liveried Boeing 777 freighters, the partnership deepens DHL’s global aviation capabilities while anchoring more long‑haul cargo capacity at Changi.”
DHL notes that the 777Fs have become an “integral part” of its intercontinental operations.
SIA commercial chief Lee Lik Hsin states: “This partnership leverages SIA’s operational expertise and DHL Express’ global logistics network to reinforce Singapore’s role as a leading air freight hub, particularly in the e-commerce segment.”
