Agreement reached with Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic.
Saudia has expanded its codeshare agreement with SkyTeam partners Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic to broaden access to US and Canadian destinations via European hubs.
The Saudi Arabian flag carrier says in a 28 July LinkedIn post that the deal will provide its passengers with access to almost 30 destinations in the USA and Canada via Amsterdam Schiphol, Paris Charles de Gaulle and London Heathrow.
“This expansion reflects Saudia’s continued focus on strengthening its global network and offering our guests more seamless access to key international destinations,” says Saudia chief commercial officer Arved von zur Muehlen.
The agreement comes ahead of Delta’s planned launch of flights between Atlanta and Riyadh on 23 October.
