Embraer will need another 28-33 commercial aircraft and 45-55 executive jets delivered in the fourth quarter to reach its full-year targets.
Brazilian airframer Embraer delivered a hefty 66 aircraft during the third quarter of 2026 – the company’s best third-quarter delivery performance in history – as it works toward its full-year delivery targets.
The total for the quarter was up 6% from the third quarter of 2025 and up 2% from the second quarter of 2026.
Commercial aviation accounted for 22 deliveries during the third quarter, consisting of 11 E175s and 11 E2-family aircraft – four E190-E2s and seven E195-E2s. This marks a 10% increase from the 20 commercial aircraft delivered in both the second quarter of 2026 and the third quarter of 2025.
Embraer has delivered 52 commercial aircraft through the first nine months, against its full-year target of 80-85. Reaching that range will require another 28-33 deliveries during the final quarter of 2026.
For comparison, Embraer delivered 32 commercial aircraft during the fourth quarter of 2025, a pace that, if matched, would put the company near the top of its 2026 target range.
Executive aviation delivered 41 business jets during the quarter, unchanged from the third quarter of 2025 but down four from the second quarter of 2026.
Embraer says this figure reflects progress in its efforts over the past two years to spread production more evenly throughout the year and “gradually reduc[e]” the concentration of deliveries in the final six months.
The airframer has delivered 115 executive jets through the first nine months of 2026. The company will need to deliver another 45-55 aircraft during the fourth quarter to reach its full-year target of 160-170 deliveries.
In the fourth quarter of 2025 Embraer delivered 53 executive jets. A similar performance this year would put the company close to the upper end of its full-year goal.
Across commercial and executive aviation, Embraer has delivered 167 aircraft through the first nine months of 2026, up 13% from the same period last year.
In defence and security, Embraer delivered three aircraft during the quarter – one KC-390 Millennium multi-mission military transport aircraft and two A-29 Super Tucanos. This is a step up from the one defence aircraft delivered during the third quarter of last year.
