BermudAir widens Caribbean reach with new US flights

Carrier to begin services from USA and Canada to Turks and Caicos, Belize and Guatemala City this winter.
BermudAir is starting flights from the USA and Canada to Turks and Caicos, Belize and Guatemala City this winter.

It marks a further expansion of the carrier’s network beyond Bermuda, after it last year launched flights from the USA to Anguilla.

BermudAir will from December begin flights to Turks and Caicos from six US airports; Baltimore-Washington, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Newark, Raleigh-Durham and St Petersburg Clearwater.

BermudAir will also start flights from Toronto to Turks and Caicos this winter.

At the same time the airline will add services to Belize from Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando Sanford, Raleigh-Durham and St Petersburg Clearwater.

Alongside new flights to the Caribbean islands, BermudAir is also launching services to Guatemala City from Boston.

Ticket sales for the new routes begin on 5 June.

It is part of a wide-ranging winter schedule which also includes the addition of a service linking St Petersburg to Anguilla, from which the carrier will also expand its flights from Baltimore and Newark and again operate seasonal flights from Boston.

The new services add to BermudAir’s existing flights to Hamilton, Bermuda from Baltimore, Boston, New York’s Westchester County, Newark and Orlando. The carrier will switch its operations from Orlando International this winter to Sanford Orlando airport.

“We’re thrilled to continue expanding our Caribbean network as the premium leisure carrier from North America,” says BermudAir founder and chief executive Adam Scott.

“Together with Bermuda, we now connect US travellers to some of the region’s most exceptional and sought-after island destinations.”

BermudAir, which launched in 2023, operates two Embraer 190s together with a pair of E175s.
