In this video I start to get the underside of the floor installed. The first job was to mill some timber to make a platform to give me access to it easily. It just so happened that when I needed to mill we had a large amount of snow. (large for this area anyway) Once the platform was in I removed all the temporary floor boards and machined them down to square boards. Planed them to the correct thickness and also put a half lap join on each edge. This whole process took over a week. once I had the materials it was easy work to get the section of floor done. Now I just need to get back on the mill and mill the rest of it. Enjoy the video.
