In this video I get the door hung on the top floor. The windy wet weather has been blowing in so I didn’t have time to make a door. I looked around locally and there wasn’t much available secondhand. eventualy I found this door. The pictures were not great but it was cheap and not too far away so I took a chance. Once I had cleaned up the bottom it was clear it isn’t a solid wood door but a modern stave core door. There is nothing wrong with stave core doors but this one look like the veneer is quite thin and I think it might de laminate in the extreme conditions we get. But time will tell. If it does I will make a solid one but for now it looks nice and it keeping the weather out.
